Today was a work day and we spent most of the morning
dealing with travel issues and working on photos.
We took a break about mid-day to wander some more.
For lunch we decided to head to a place that specializes in French Fries. We had been by the place several times and there was always a huge line. So we asked one of the people in line and they indicated that Frietsland had the best French Fries in Brussels.

They didn’t have much besides French Fries so since we had
eaten breakfast late we decided to stand in line for 20+ minutes, get a couple
of small orders of fries and then deal with an actual meal later.
This was a differed fries shop but we decided their logo and play on words (i.e. Manneken Pis) was worth posting.

The actual later meal turned out to be some ice cream…an altogether tasty
and unhealthy day so far.
In the evening we went back to the Grand Place for dinner at
one of the restaurants overlooking the tapestry and then stayed for the final sound
and light show. They played the same
song every 15 minutes or so with the accompanying lights. Was really beautiful but a repeat of what we
have seen before.
